Senior Design Infrastructure Engineer (3 Month Contract) @MSB
Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 infrastructure roll-out across the clients organisation. Technical and business elements involved in the infrastructure project.
This is the third phase of this project:
Review the design of the central infrastructure supporting file, print, Exchange and application services in light of : -Migration of the remaining 80 sites -Establish disaster recovery site as part of the design.
Assist with establishing the migration on the 80 sites worldwide. (Migration will consist of migrating file and print services from Netware to Windows 2003 and mail services from MS Mail to Exchange 2003).
Successful Candidate will have been responsible for the Design and Implementation of:
· Windows 2000* Windows 2003 File and Print Services in at least 3 organisations.
· Exchange 2000 mail services in at least 2 organisations and Exchange 2003 in at least 1 organisation.
· Dell Storage Area Network in at least 2 other organisations.
Requirements:
Active Directory, Exchange 2000*2003, File, Print and Server design.
SAN Design and Implementation
Disaster recovery design and implementation
File replication research and implementation.
Backup Hardware and Software configuration.
Server recovery procedures.
MCSE on Windows 2000*2003
Active Directory Design & Exchange 2000*2003 Design
3 month Contract initially with possible extension.
To start as soon as possible.
